Premium polyester replacement net manufactured to the same quality standards as the trampolines supplied to many leading French boatyards. Custom-made for the Catana 55 catamaran. Manufactured in France by a specialised workshop according to strict specifications. Supplied with an installation guide.

Material
  • Knotless braided net made from high-strength polyester, UV-treated and resistant to moisture.
  • Polyester is the ideal material for a catamaran net, thanks to its very low stretch and excellent stability in a marine environment.
  • Polyester is much less elastic and more dimensionally stable than polyamide.
Which mesh size should I choose?
  • 22 mm mesh: The most comfortable option. Ideal for cruising.
  • 30 mm mesh: Minimises the impact on sailing in rough seas. Standard mesh size used by French boatyards.
Which colour should I choose?
  • White: The most visible option, providing the greatest sense of security. However, it is more prone to showing dirt (such as sunscreen or shoe marks).
  • Black: The most discreet choice. A dark net reflects less light, making it easier to see the water through the mesh.
  • Grey: Blends particularly well with turquoise waters.
  • Beige: The most distinctive option. This colour is rarely used.

The colour has no impact on heat absorption or strength.
All our nets are solution-dyed, meaning every colour offers exactly the same performance and durability.

How do I install the trampoline?

The recommended fastening method is point-by-point lacing using our 5 mm polyester braided rope.
Required rope length: perimeter length × 10.

Precautions for Use
  • Under the effect of weight and initial use, the net may relax slightly. A final tightening a few weeks after installation may be carried out to achieve the ideal tension.
  • Always respect the maximum permitted load. For all our nets, we recommend not exceeding a total load of 400 kg. This limit ensures safe use while preserving the net's durability.
  • Avoid using shoes or sharp objects whenever possible to prevent damage to the net mesh.
  • Do not jump on the net, as this may damage both the net and the supporting structure.
Maintenance Advice
  • Clean the net with fresh water only. Do not use detergents or aggressive cleaning products. If the net becomes dirty, soapy water and a soft brush are sufficient.
  • Regularly inspect the mesh and the reinforced edges for signs of wear or cuts. Also check the lacing ropes and attachment points to ensure there is no looseness or corrosion.

A rate of 10 to 15% is applied between the attachment structure and the size of the net. The dimensions of standard catamaran models are supplied by the shipyards.

The rate we applied depends on the type of installer.

A net intended for professional installers will be shorter. It will be more difficult to install but will result in a tighter fit.

A net intended for private individuals will be slightly longer. It will be easier to install but slightly less taut.

Catamaran nets can be woven with either polyamide or polyester fibers. Both fibers are resistant to UV rays and sea salts, making them well-suited for marine conditions.

However, polyester is more optimal as it has less elasticity and elongation compared to polyamide. Additionally, it offers better stability against weather fluctuations and humidity.

When wet, polyamide has the disadvantage of stretching and losing more than 30% of its strength.

The 30mm mesh is ideal as it is tight for comfort and wide enough not to affect your catamaran when the sea is rough.

The average lifespan of our trampoline nets is between 4 and 8 years, depending on the climate and frequency of use.
