Nylon rope is highly valued for its resistance to seawater, chafing and UV rays. Its flexibility and elasticity allow it to effectively absorb shocks and sudden loads. This rope is ideal for mooring, anchoring lines and fishing boats.

- Water reaction: Does not float, rapidly absorbs water. Loses 20% of its strength when wet. Resistant to seawater.
- UV resistance: UV-treated. Excellent UV resistance.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to moths, bacteria, strong alkalis (ammonia, soda) and bleaching agents.
- Chemical sensitivity: Sensitive to mineral acids, concentrated formic and acetic acids, and certain phenols.
- Critical temperature: 160°C
- Melting point: 230°C
- Fire reaction: Difficult to ignite, does not sustain combustion. Celery-like odor in flame, white smoke.
- Standard: NF EN ISO 1140 for 6 mm and 8 mm. ISO 1140 A PA2 for 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm.

The nylon rope has the highest elasticity and excellent shock absorption capacity. It is the rope with the best breaking strength.
Caution: nylon loses about 20% of its resistance when wet.
Nylon does not rot in water but it absorbs quickly and loses about 20% of its resistance when wet. It is non-floating. It is resistant to moisture.
Density: 1.14
Nylon has excellent UV resistance. It is ideal for long-term outdoor exposure.
Nylon is resistant to mites, bacteria, strong alkalis (ammonia, soda) and bleaching agents.
It is sensitive to mineral, formic acids, concentrated acetic acids and some phenols.
