The story of Baker’s Twine:
Historically, Baker’s Twine was the two-tone cotton twine used by bakers and pastry chefs to tie bread and boxes of pastries and biscuits.
Ideal for a wide range of uses: macramé, DIY, scrapbooking, crochet, table settings, decoration, fashion accessories, jewellery, floral art, wrapping, labelling, invitations, card making, events, crafts and gardening.

Our Baker’s Twine complies with the provisions of Regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EC) No 2023/2006 and Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, as subsequently amended. Its materials and active ingredients are included in the EU lists of substances authorised for food contact use.
- Material: 80% cotton, 20% polyester
- 1 mm spool: approximately 500 metres per 200 g
- Packaging: rolls on a cardboard tube
- Complies with EC standards 1935/2004 and 852/2004
- Contains no components hazardous for food contact
- Contains no optical brighteners or bisphenols
- Twine complies with good manufacturing practices for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food (Regulation 2023/2006).
- Use: dry, moist, aqueous and fatty food environments
- Maximum contact duration: 10 years
